This website first went online in December of 2007.  Happy Bigfeet was the main motivation for starting a website.  I only had a little bit of an idea of what to do with it.  It’s just kind of developed as time went along.  Making my writing available to the public without going through some corporate monster was the main point of it.  The first thing I added was the Story of the Month.  I thought it would be a fun challenge to write a new short story for the website every month, and it has been.  I haven't missed a month yet.  Music has also been a big part of my life for many years.  I was even in a band in high school called Presance.  We recorded a bunch of original songs.  The recordings a pretty rough since they were done on a cassette recorder.  I went to the trouble of transferring them all over to a digital format a few years back before the tapes deteriorated to the point where this would no longer be possible.  You can hear these songs on the website as I put one on here and trade it out every month.  They are worth a listen, but don't expect perfection.  There is also new music.  I went through some different digital recorders before I found one that worked good enough.  "Green Eggs and Ham (Sam I Am)" is the only song left from those earlier recorders.  You can hear some of the fun I was struggling with as you listen to it.  The earlier recorders were good enough to do some of the mock ads on the Odds and Ends page.  The Chicken Chokers ad was something that was bouncing around in my head for years.  I finally got a chance to do something with.  The blog is a place where anything can happen, whether it be making fun of a news story (usually cleberaty related) or talking about what I am finding while I am somewhere on vacation or just whatever crazy thing strikes my fancy.  Look for the annual Dumbass of the Year award or the periodic predictions (I am never wrong).  Trying to keep it fun is the main thing.  Consider this your entertainment alternative.
